Brianna & Ryan’s Classic Coastal Affair

Brianna came to us with a clear vision and aesthetic that she wanted to get across: a romantic, classic, clean, black-and-white wedding in a dreamy coastal setting. As is evidenced by the stunning pictures from Kaitlin Noel Co, our collaboration clearly paid off and delivered.

One of the most important (and talked-about) details to Brianna was the signage, papery, and branding. Luckily, we worked with Jess from The Jess Press who brought our visions to life. Jess created a custom watercolor of Long Beach Island featuring some of Brianna & Ryan’s favorite places on the island, as well as relevant locations for the wedding weekend. She also created a detailed wedding weekend timeline (complete with the cutest graphics) that guests received in their hotel welcome bags. We had a custom-built signature drink shelf with a laser-cut “Here’s to Us” sign that guests enjoyed during cocktail hour. And of course the pièce de résistance; that epic seating chart. We had a vision and Jess was the mastermind behind this major install, working with both a custom woodworker and vinyl printer to accomplish the final look.

What made this wedding really stand out was all of the extremely thoughtful details we incorporated. The signature drinks each came with an edible topper featuring B&R’s monogram, a motif that was also present on the chic black-and-white menus placed at each seat. The wedding favors were not only adorable but practical, as many guests enjoyed their bride and groom-themed chocolate covered pretzels rods after dinner. Brianna was very intentional with her floral choices - from the type and ratio of the white florals to the greenery spring on each menu to the stunning floral installs in the ceremony chapel.

Not only were the decor and details iconic at this wedding, but so was the guest experience. Guests danced allllll night long, rocking out to throwback pop-punk jams (B&R’s faves!) performed by ECE’s Blue Label Band. They also enjoyed the stunning scenery of Bonnet Island Estate, situated right on the dock of the bay. Finally, they partied late into the night at the awesome after party that took place right in BIE’s lobby, complete with bumpin’ music and pizza.
