Meghan & Mike’s Christmas Winter Wonderland

Some December couples want to steer clear of the Christmas aesthetic. However with Meghan & Mike, they wanted the complete opposite. Megan’s goal was to create a classy, elevated, Christmas-y, winter wonderland. We are so proud of the results that were delivered.

“Details, details, details” was the name of the game when it came to creating this holiday dreamland. The custom seating chart was created by Kelsey at Creamery Hill, which had personalized Christmas ornaments for each guest that also had their table assignment. Speaking of the tables, instead of doing typical numbers, we named each of the tables after the couple’s favorite Christmas songs. The card box was a red mailbox that read “Letters to Santa” and we even displayed the emerald napkins in a Christmas tree fold. To add to the classic, elegant vibe, we brought in a bold black-and-white dance floor, featured stunning elevated centerpieces from Betina’s, and incorporated chic white Christmas trees.

Don’t think everything we did was subtle. It wouldn’t be a North Pole-worthy wedding without a life-size, usable sleigh. Of course we couldn’t help ourselves and hung a “Just Married” sign on the back of the sleigh. Guests were taking pictures in the sleigh all night long to really get into the spirit. And of course, would it be a Christmas wedding without an appearance from Santa himself?! Of course, we had jolly Saint Nick stop by to hand out favors from his gift bag and snap photos with the guests.

We are SO grateful that this wedding was captured by the incomparable Kristi Telnov photography. The expert poses, creative shots, and stunning editing made this one of our favorite photo galleries of all time. Of course, Meghan’s stunning hair, makeup, and dress(es) helped too.
